The Dream. The Life. The Blessing
In 2014, we purchased a log cabin with the most glorious property and our dream to farm came to fruition. For five years, we focused solely on our home, basically rebuilding from the floor studs and up.
When the world started to crash in March of 2020, the focus drastically changed. Empty shelves in the grocery stores and the sense of hopelessness in our nation pushed us to turn our aspirations into a reality.
Pat’s construction and military background, along with his mission to “never stop,” has been the ultimate drive behind this operation. His passion and work ethic is infectious. My history with “hobby farming” and background as a high school English teacher has allowed me to create the platform for “not just knowing who your farmer is, but knowing how your food is actually raised.”
Meat from the grocery stores was making us sick and raising animals solely for our own consumption was not what we desired. Being a source for educating people on the ethics and reasoning behind our methods of farming has become our ultimate goal. There’s a bad connotation out in the world today about farms and showing our friends, family, and community what we do is our objective. There has been a tremendous increase in the knowledge people are wanting to gain about the food they consume.
I must admit that we are a pretty dynamic team and find strength in each others weaknesses. Our focus, faith, perseverance, and effervescence has already proven that the most difficult obstacles may be conquered. Passion is the leading force behind the increase in our success.
The goal and vision for Timber and Stone Farm is on full drive. Our ambition is setting the stage for future generations.
Thank you so much for choosing us!
